Get Involved
We are always looking for people to be involved with G3 and support our children. Parents, youth, and anyone who loves children are invited to lend a helping hand. Besides group leaders, G3 needs substitutes and special event help. The more involvement we have, the better the small group experience is for the children. G3 is getting ready to start it's 7th season this fall. We need your help to fill these positions. Please contact if you are interested.
G3 is going to continue using the Faith Weaver Friends Bible Curriculum by Group. The curriculum provides lesson plans, craft ideas, and game suggestions. As a station leader, you can choose to follow their suggestions, improve them, or come up with your own great ideas.
- Craft Teacher
The craft station is 20 minutes, every other week.
This person would organize and implement the craft projects for 2, 20 minute sessions. Track and locate supplies needed as well as be the contact for major projects such as the Angel Tree ornaments. - Game Teacher
The game station is 20 minutes every other week.
This person would organize and lead games for 2, 20 minute sessions. - Learning Teachers (2)
Learning Teachers are responsible for organizing and implementing the lessons for two rotations, 1st-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade. This person would teach 2, 20 minute sessions, every other week. - Group Leaders
Every week these four people will be working with the same small group of children. They move with their group from station to station. Their job is to help reinforce the lesson and help the teachers at each station. - Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is our winter service project. We need someone to work with the current organizer. - Photographer
G3 is always having so much fun, we need to capture it! This person would need to be around on special event nights. A digital camera is available if you do not have your own. Film cameras are also welcome. - Photo Album
G3 has accumulated a stack of photos. We need a volunteer that would help get them into photo albums so we could enjoy them!
